BRAMPTON - Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and William Osler Health System (Osler) announced today that the Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness has reached substantial completion. 

The new facility, located in Brampton, will provide patients in Peel with:

  • Urgent care, day surgery and diagnostic services, including CT, X-ray and ultrasound, laboratory, pharmacy and neurology/cardiac diagnostics
  • Mental health and addictions programs
  • Women's and children's wellness programs
  • Seniors' wellness programs
  • Medical/surgical services focusing on chronic disease management 
  • Preventative care for chronic conditions such as diabetes and asthma.

The building will be fully operational in April 2017, once equipment and furniture have been installed and transition completed.

Plenary Health - comprised of Plenary Group (Developer), PCL Constructors Canada Inc. (Design Constructor), Diamond Schmitt Architects and RTKL, an Arcadis Company (Architects), Honeywell Limited (Facilities Management) and RBC Capital Markets (Financial Advisor) - delivered the design, build, finance, maintain project on budget.

William Osler Health System is a hospital system serving Brampton, Etobicoke, and surrounding communities of the Central West Local Health Integration Network, and has been accredited with Exemplary Standing from Accreditation Canada.
